Life is Beautiful

Today has been a great day to stop, take a minute, and reflect, which makes one grateful and to realize Life is Beautiful!  What a perfect sentiment to remind us how good life is and that we are truly blessed!

Today presents a rare opportunity for a second post.  Last evening I finished up teaching a six week card making series to a great group of ladies.  We learned many new things during the class, we laughed, we cried, we enjoyed some great snacks each week provided by one of the ladies, and most of all we were blessed by each other, and we had fun!

Life is Beautiful....

Thinking of You

Today is a clean and simple card that I've used items from Heartfelt Creations.  The beautiful paper and image is from the Buttons and Bows Collection.  Heartfelt Creations has fabulous papers, stamps and dies that match, which makes card making an easy task for beginners to the experienced crafter.  You can create a handmade card with ease using their products.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is celebrated in the United States as a day of love.  I hope everybody has a special person who makes them feel loved.  As we know, love is not about receiving lots of gifts and dinners out on the town, but rather, love is spending time with the ones who make your heart full of joy. 

My sweet husband and I have not celebrated Valentines's Day in the traditional way for many years, not because we don't love each other, but because we tell each other I love you everyday.  We don't need special gifts to remind us how much we love each other...

I did make a special valentine card for my husband, though!

Welcome!
